You Run the Site, We Run the Rest
Managed means the upkeep is ours, not yours.
We apply WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates, keep caching and backups running, and guard the login, so your time goes into the site itself.

WordPress Tools Built Into the Panel
Enhance includes a WordPress toolkit for installs, updates, staging, and security, so routine jobs take a click instead of a plugin.
One-Click Installs
Install WordPress, or WordPress with WooCommerce, on any site. Pick the version and set the admin account in one form.
Read the guide: Install WordPressManage WordPress From the Panel
Set the core update policy, manage plugins, themes, and users, turn on maintenance mode, and sign in to wp-admin without a password.
Read the guide: Manage WordPress with the ToolkitStaging and Push to Live
Clone a site to a staging copy, test core, theme, or WooCommerce updates, then copy it back to live with a WordPress search and replace of the site address.
Read the guide: Test changes on a staging copyPrivate Redis Object Cache
Turn on Redis for your site from the panel. Repeated database queries come from memory, which helps busy stores and membership sites.
Read the guide: Speed up your website
- Scheduled Automatic Updates. Core and plugins can update automatically on a set schedule. If an update causes trouble, the site can be restored from the daily backup.
- SSH Access and WP-CLI. Work over SSH with key or password sign-in, run WP-CLI commands, and run Node.js apps next to WordPress when a project needs them.
- Login Lockdown and Firewall. Restrict wp-admin to your IP addresses, limit repeated login attempts, and filter common attacks with ModSecurity and OWASP rules.
The Software Behind Your Site
Open, widely supported software that your developer will already know.
OpenLiteSpeed
HTTP/3 and Page CachingAn event-driven web server with built-in full-page caching and HTTP/3. It reads common .htaccess rewrite rules and pairs with the LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress.
MariaDB
MySQL CompatibleA drop-in MySQL replacement for WordPress, WooCommerce, and most PHP apps. Manage databases and users in the panel, or use phpMyAdmin.
PostgreSQL
PostGIS and pgvectorCreate PostgreSQL databases from the panel, with the same allowance as MariaDB on every plan. PHP’s pgsql and PDO drivers switch on when you add one.
PHP
Per-Site VersionsChoose a PHP version for each site, with common extensions such as Redis, IMAP, Curl, Zip, and Brotli, plus OPcache and php.ini controls.
Redis
Private Per SiteTurn on a private Redis cache for a site from the panel. It keeps repeated database lookups in memory so dynamic pages load faster.
Node.js
Multiple Apps per SiteRun Node.js apps next to your website, then view logs, switch modes, and restart them from the control panel.

ionCube Loader
One-Click ToggleTurn on the ionCube Loader per site to run encoded PHP software such as commercial plugins and billing modules.
GitHub Deploy
Deploy on PushConnect your GitHub account once, then deploy any repository you choose to a custom site in the panel, by hand or automatically on every push.
- PushA commit lands on your branch or tag
- BuildYour build command runs, such as
npm run build - LiveThe site switches to the new deploy only if the build succeeds
- Public or private repositories
- Production or staging sites
- PHP, Node.js, Laravel, and static sites
Built for Serious WordPress Sites
The pieces that make WordPress and WooCommerce fast, safe to update, and easy to recover.
OpenLiteSpeed With LiteSpeed Cache
With the free LiteSpeed Cache plugin, OpenLiteSpeed serves cached pages at the server level and purges only the pages you change. HTTP/3 is supported.
NVMe Storage
Files and MariaDB databases sit on NVMe solid-state storage, which keeps wp-admin, search, and WooCommerce order screens responsive.
Redis Object Cache
A private Redis cache keeps repeated database queries in memory, cutting load on carts, accounts, and dashboards that cannot be page-cached.
One-Click Staging
Test plugin and theme updates on a staging copy, never on your live store, then push to live when it works.
Login and Bot Protection
Brute-force protection limits repeated wp-login.php attempts, ModSecurity filters common attack patterns, and wp-admin can be locked to your IP addresses.
Updates Applied for You
We apply WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates, and a daily backup is always there to restore if an update breaks something.
Hosted in Canada
Customer records and WooCommerce orders are stored in our Beauharnois, Quebec datacenter near Montreal, with backups kept in Canada.
Room for WooCommerce
OPcache, per-site PHP versions, and PHP limits you can raise from the panel keep uncached cart, checkout, and account pages responsive.
Your Plugins, Kept Up to Date
Run the plugins your site depends on, and let us handle the updates.
We apply plugin, theme, and core updates for you, with daily backups in Canada and a firewall in front of every site.
A Modern Control Panel, Not a Legacy One
cPanel has run shared hosting for decades. Enhance was built for how sites run today: each one in its own container, with caching, staging, and backups in the same panel.
| Capability | SheernoxEnhance Platform | Typical cPanel Host |
|---|---|---|
Site IsolationHow sites are kept apart | Every site in its own containerCPU, memory, and processes are limited per site, so one busy site can’t slow the rest of your account. | Sites share one accountPer-account limits usually rely on an add-on such as CloudLinux. |

Managed WordPress FAQs
How do OpenLiteSpeed and LiteSpeed Cache speed up WordPress?
With the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, OpenLiteSpeed serves cached pages directly instead of running PHP for every visit, and purges only the pages you change. Redis then speeds up pages that cannot be cached, like carts and dashboards. Faster responses help Core Web Vitals, though your theme and plugins matter too.
Do you migrate WordPress sites for free?
Yes, on every WordPress plan. We move your files, database, email, and DNS, test the site on our servers, and switch over at a time that suits you.
Can I use any theme or plugin?
Yes. We do not keep a banned-plugin list. Run Elementor, Divi, WooCommerce, LearnDash, ACF, or your own code.
How do I turn on Redis?
Enable Redis for your site in the control panel, then turn on object caching in the LiteSpeed Cache or Redis Object Cache plugin. Each site’s Redis runs privately in its own container.
What does managed WordPress hosting include?
We manage the servers, PHP, web server, and control panel, and we apply WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates for you. Our support team helps with WordPress problems. For uptime monitoring, malware cleanup, and ongoing site care, add a Website Care plan.
How many sites can I host?
WP Launch hosts 1 WordPress site, WP Elevate 3, and WP Scale 10. Staging copies do not count toward the limit.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. WordPress hosting can be refunded within 30 days of your initial order. Renewals are not refundable. Full terms are at legal.sheernox.com.
Need monitoring and malware cleanup?
Website Care plans add uptime monitoring, malware cleanup, and ongoing care on top of your hosting.
